Jackie Negus-Fancey commenced her training in Graphic design at Mid Cheshire College of Art and Design. Her interest led her into textile design and printmaking. After leaving college, she was commissioned by Liz Cox Themes to do much of their artwork for bars, hotels and restaurants. She then trained with Miles for 4yrs becoming a very accomplished paint finisher before returning to work as a project manager with LCT Interior Solutions. Combining raising a family, with being a partner of 'imerj' decorative artists, Jackie has also worked with schools on various projects which digitally combine the children’s own artwork with photography to create feature pieces. She has created graffiti wallpapers and personalized wallpapers for many of her commercial and private clients. She continues to design digital artwork and wallpaper for the hotel and leisure industry as a partner of Miles Negus-Fancey Design.
Aimee Bunyard ia a scenic artist and decorative painter, she trained at Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a BA Hon in Theatre Practice. After graduating, Aimee became a freelance artist and has worked in theatre, opera, film, television & exhibitions for work featured at Southbank Centre & O2.
Dave Lawton is a specialist applicator of lime based polished plasters, he has prided himself on applying exceptional interior and exterior finishes. He has a broad understanding of many traditional and contemporary techniques having worked along side great artisan plasteres like PD Marlow. His extensive knowledge and ability extends to many aspects of construction and beyond his passion for traditional mould making and fibrous plasterwork.
Kate Walton is an illustrative artist with a love for traditional techniques from gilding to etching. Her particular passion is chinoiserie. She has an exquisite eye for detail which spills into her portraiture. She has collaborated with Miles on numerous projects over the past 5years
Tracy Lawson is the newest member of the team. She has had a a lifelong passion for all aspects of the creative arts and thrives on the challenge of creating and transforming pieces of work using a variety artistic of techniques and is eager to learn more.
Katie B Morgan has been a finisher for thirty years, she studied illustration at Gloucester Art College but found she was draw to the intricacy of the painted & gilded gypsy wagons and fairground rides. Her skills at woodgraining, marbling and gilding have enabled her to undertake restoration work and is Artist in Residence for Sudeley Castle. Miles & Katie have been working together in collaboration for over 20 years.
